How many times can I reload the same case?
With regard to .30 Luger cases:
What is the average number of times a case can be reloaded? From what I know its not a really high pressure cartridge. So I would imagine each case could be reloaded about 3-4 times. I know that there are several factors that case life depends on, like, case condition/quality, pressure of loading and type of powder etc. What I am really looking for is a ball park figure. Thanks, Anand |

ball park figure - after about 4 loadings, your accuracy will begin to drop off - maybe even dramatically because the necks start getting pretty hard. if you anneal cases, you should be able to get more accurate life out of your cases.
>>i am not familiar at all w/ a 30 luger...i base this observation on the 308 win. which i have my best data on for accurate case life...
