It would seem, if I read the line at the opening page right, that some 36 members ago the 1000 registered members milestone must have been passed ... congratulations to Rich and his team seem in order

When I first found this site I could sit down and read every new post in about an hour. Now adays I'm doing good to make it through about a quarter of them. I just don't have the time to read them all!
Ain't that the way of it, get a good thing going and everybody wants to get in on the act. Seriously though, Rich and the TFL staff have put together THE best firearms board on the internet. This is now the only board I visit. Congratulations and well done! |

Guys,
You warm my heart! I only put the member count up this afternoon when I realized we'd reached the 1,000 mark (less than 5 months). I gotta tell ya'll though. About 700 members ago, I started agonizing that too many people might change the entire feel of the Board...to the negative. DC, Mykl, Rob, Gary and others convinced me that we should just "go for it" and see what happens. What's happened is truly gratifying. We've done no advertising since November and have gained a rep as the "highbrow" firearms board on the Net. This is much to the credit of the best Moderator staff on the planet, but even moreso to you guys. People come here, check out the threads and are sucked in like gulls to a rotating 747! Thank you all! Rich Lucibella (ps: You new guys...I really didn't mean that crack about the gulls ) |
