New AR-15
Decided to buy my first AR-15...and psyched! Got a decent deal on the M&P15 VTAC, and I couldn't pass it up. I have been wanting and AR for a while, and bargain hunting for the last year. I am still deciding on optics, but want to wait and save up. I threw a set of MBUS's on there for now, ordered the Vltor Imod butt pad, Tango Down grip, and an accu-wedge insert. Even though I haven't shot it, that polymer accu-med seemed to tighten it up nicely. Had to custom fit (cut) it but it was no big deal. Have taken it apart a few times, dry fired a bunch, cleaned, and lubed. Hitting a range this weekend.

Marquezj16,
You're absolutely right. When I took the pics, there was still one more notch to go back. |

Update. Decided to put a Magpul ACS-L stock instead of the original VLTOR. Much more comfortable, and a little heavier whichs weighs the rifle out more equally. Not to mention that it looks cool!

Thanks. Just transferred the link from photobucket. I'm into photography, and take all my pics at 4000 x 3000.
