PRVI Partizan PPU Match ammo?
Has anybody tried this ammo? My local shop is selling it for $18 a box in 308 (175 grain fmj bt). It seems affordable when compared with Gold Medal wich is $35 at the same shop.
Any feed back is appreciated. |

Don't know about the 175, but I have shot quite abit of 168gr.-BT match, thru my SavageFP, 20" bull barrel, .308, and have attained some very respectable groups all the way out to 300yds. Not as consistent as Federal Premium, but admittedly better than any of the mil-surp stuff out their today, and will outperform Winchester "white box" all day. Just my 2cents worth. Picked up 4 bxs. of the 168gr. at the gun show today for $16.95--a month ago I was paying $14.00.Sometimes ya just have to run what ya brung!

I've been shooting it in .308, 168 grain and it seems to fly really well.
I'm breaking in a new Remington 700 and in under 100 rds it's shooting 3 round groups under 1 MOA. When I first found these bullets they were $15.00 a box and now up to $18.00 but (to me) they seem to be worth it. |

gkdir:
I also have a Savage FP10, have put about 400 rounds of the South African surplus 147 grn non-corrosive through it. I have shot many.25-.5 moa groups at 100 meters with that stuff! The problem is now it costs as much as factory ammo so why bother? Just thought i'd give you the heads up.
