12ga 3 inch Magnum BB's

I just found a pile of these that somebody gave me years ago. I'm no bird hunter, so was just curious what these are for? Thanks.

Geese is the likely answer. Of course, if they're lead you can't shoot waterfowl with them anymore.

They can be hard to find around here but are said to be good on coyote.

same here, that and SD. Largest legal lead shot for turkeys in Wisconsin is #4s. I too would assume, that they are old goose loads from the days when lead was legal. I bet they'd blow the hell outta grapefruit and melons tho.............

BB is good for geese and high ducks. Won't be much left of small puddles ducks afterwards but still a good round. I use BBB for high geese in high winds but BB works too.

Thanks all. They pack a little bit of a wallop. Never thought about coyotes...might have to give that a try.

You could take antelope with it too probably but good luck getting that close.

And various household appliances. I was out shootin stuff at the dump becuase I happen to be a hillbilly and my cousin and I absolutely destroyed an old junker dryer along with a couple fridges and a stove with 3 inch magnum #2s.
