Searching for a specific school in California

Hello All,

I was surfing the web for a school in which to learn long range shooting and came across a great looking one but before I could take down details I had a power cut!

From what I remember, the head instructor is a guy who was in the air force, learn combat shooting, was a part time instructor at the Marines base in SoCal in sniper training. His classes are very intense in that he stated you can expect to fire close to 900 rounds and that he believed in stressed shooting - he yells at you etc to get you used to shooting under sub-optimal conditions.

Try as I might, I cannot find the website again! Anyone know of this school off the top of their heads?

Thanks for any assistance.

He's gonna yell at me? And I've got a gun?

Nah. I want to take lessons from someone smarter than me.

I think Activ either I misrepresented or you have misunderstood. His teaching method isn't based on yelling entirely. I think he incorporates yelling as part of putting you under a stressed situation whilst the student practices firing. Very much like how Krav Maga is taught - getting the student emotionally stressed in order to enable them to think and react appropriately under pressure. As a student of Krav Maga I find this approach highly effective and liked that some one was willing to incorporate into shooting.

A quick read of his website would set this straight.

Does anyone know of any other schools in Southern California that use this approach?

Cheers
