hollow base bullets
I'm starting to reload for the 9mm. I noticed a price difference in Hollow based and flat based bullets. What is the difference? Any bennifit to either??

It all depends on what your gun prefers. Typically, hollow-based wadcutters (HBWC) cannot be pushed at all. They fall into the 'putz' load category. Whereas, cast bullets made of a substantial alloy can be pushed beyond HBWC velocities.
I trust that this information will help you.

The ones the I was looking at were jacketed. But I think I'll just stuck flat based. Thank you for the info.

Greetings,
I used hollow base and flat base 9mm 115 grains. Same powder and same powder grains. I got the same result on the target. Thank you
