I've been using 135gr JHP's and blue dot... lots of blue dot. In fact, I'm not even going to post it because its over maximum. I trust it though, because it works for me, and Mike McNett (owner of doubletap) posted it on a different forum as one of his loads before he started doubletap, i think.

The best resource for 10mm loads is the 10mm reloading forum at GT.
http://www.glocktalk.com/forumdisplay.php?forumid=67 A LOT of Mr. McNett's handiwork there.

I use AA #7 and Ramshot Enforcer for just about all of my loads. Not much data on the latter. Since I can use a .45 for sub-caliber training, I load mostly warm. I like 135@1400, 170/180@1300, and 200@1200.

Most bullet companies claim that Accurate #7 provides the best accuracy for 10mm and is often their choice for hunting loads as well in that caliber. That is all I use for 10mm anymore. Under Hornady 180g XTPs, I use 11.3g of AA#7. Nice big bang and superb accuracy out to 50 yards in my Glock 20.

reduced 10mm loads
I find that 5.0 grs Unique under a 200gr HP/XTP makes a nice low power practice round out of my Kimber.

CAUTION: The following post includes loading data beyond currently published maximums for this cartridge. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Neither the writer, The Firing Line, nor the staff of TFL assume any liability for any damage or injury resulting from use of this information.
AA#9 = Ramshot Enforcer = H108 = WC820 I can only get 15.5 gr of that powder to fit under a 200 gr bullet in 10mm. That powder does not compress, at all. The bullet just squishes with more press force and more powder. |

I am going to start loading the BIG 10, and was wondering if any one has tried the Alliant Power Pistol. I have had good luck with this in 9mm and .45 acp. I will be shooting the 10mm loads in a Gock-29.
