Makarov reloading data
I'd like to reload for my Mak and I use Unique powder. Recipies anyone? I'll use a 95gr LRN projectile. These will just be plinking rounds, not for self-defense.

What do your loading manuals suggest?

sterno: There is this nifty thing on the web called GOOGLE
Go to Alliant Powders, makers of Unique: http://www.alliantpowder.com/reloaders/Index.htm agree, go to pistol loading data, go to 9x18Mak. Use the data for the 100LRN, backing off 5% of the low load data as your starting point. Usually the 95LRN and 100LRN data are the same, and if anything they use higher loads for the 95. But for safety sake, start low, as you did not mention your weapon or its condition.

I've been reloading my Maks for a number of years. 4.5gr Unique with the 95grain lead round nose works great and is very accurate. You can't double charge.
