It's made for Hoppe's by M-Pro 7 (as is all their Elite range) So you can compare it to this: http://www.mpro7.com/mpro7-foaming-gun-cleaner.html

Their description is their regular gun cleaner with foaming action, and as that's pretty well rated, i'd say it was good.

M-Pro 7 describe the Hoppe's Elite as pretty much the same....

Gonna say it'll be close, but not quite as good, that would be the normal way of competing companies making a product for the other.

It was some elite in a sprayer, I dont remember which to be honest. Maybe bore cleaner? it dripped off my boresnake @ the forcing cone and left streaks down my slab side barrel.

I just bought and tried the Hoppe's foaming bore cleaner and didn't like it at all. Its a pump bottle, the tube is too big and its messy.
I much prefer the Gunslick foaming bore cleaner, its an aerosol and the tube is smaller and fits better. It is not messy as the foam stays where you put it, in the bore.
