Uberti has a line of economical models that are blued but not polished beforehand, so it ends up looking like it was parkerized.
This can save the consumer money by not spending as much labor on doing all of the final polishing that other companies typically do. Last edited by arcticap; October 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM. |

I really enjoy mine. I got it from Tanners off of gun broker last year for $250. Best $250 I've spent on a pistol. The quality is really nice for the money.

Brazos,
Me too. I bought TWO! I like the matte black finish. I also have two of Uberti's Millenium finish NMA Remingtons. They don't glare in the sun. The finish holds a light oiling nicely.

I have two in .357, they are great for the price.
arcticap mentioned that they were not polished beforehand to save money during production. Does that mean that they can now be polished by me? Thanks, OJW |
