Sig X5 question

Mine's a 40. The mags are marked 40/357.

You see where I'm going with this?

Will a standard P226 barrel in .357 Sig work?

Looks like Barsto supports it.

My X-Five is a .40S&W as well..../ I don't have a standard Sig barrel in .357 Sig to try ...so I don't know if it'll work or not....

But I'm curious why you want to ??

Well the standard P226 barrel is .6" shorter than the X5 barrel, 4.4" versus 5.0", so I'm guessing, NO.
