.22 lr F-class???

I just put a .22 rimfire together for F-T/R practice and began to wonder if anybody has fooled around with a .22 lr F-class match. Found a little bit on line at 100 and 200 yds, but not much.

Affordable, and 100-200 yd ranges are more common than longer necessary for true F-class.

Seems like a good idea, but the closest I found to me was 4 hrs away, no real savings there!

I have a bipod fitting on my Army surplus H&R M12 for F class practice but have not seen any organized matches. The Sheffield club has an occasional 100 yard novelty shoot but nothing regular.

I would love to become involved with a 22lr / F class shooting.

clinton

hey Jim

The shoot I saw online was in Clinton, Ms, near Jackson.

They had two classes, open and a sporter class. Scaled down a F target to 1/2 MOA xring and 1MOA 10, etc. Twenty round ccourses of fire w/ the usual time and unlimited sighters.

Kimbers in the 195 range were winning the open.
ammo a big factor. I hear beating the wind at 200 is like .308 at 1000.
sure would be cheaper.
