Whos got the best CCW Night Sights for Springfield XD

I have a XD 45 Tactical that I converted to a 460 Rowland. I just had the obligatory Powder River Precision CCW trigger, extractor and steel pin set put in by a certified gun smith. I now want to upgrade the sights and have considered Trijicon HD but what has been your experience?

I am looking for all weather, all conditions night sights and the brighter the better?

I have the Trijicon HDs on my XDm. I really like them.

.460 Rowland for carry? Dang, I feel bad for your mugger.

I'm a Trijicon loyalist. I think they make a solid product. Second choice would be Meprolight.

My new theory of life is, what use is the safe queen? I don't begrudge anyone for having safe queens, but I no longer see the point. You have to enjoy the time you have, whatever time that may be, so go for it.

Yes, the Rowland has been integrated into my CCW cycle. Hope to never have to employ it for its purpose but if that bad day ever comes its potency will hopefully stop the threat with the least number of rounds and preserve the BGs life by stopping him or her with the least amount of rounds (least force)... It is a considered change of thought after a fair amount of reading. Less rounds expended = greater chance of survival for BG and yet should bring the threat to its end as quickly as possible... Side benefit is less rounds expended less chance of unintended hit on anything else.

I agree with T-Rat, for the $, Trijicon is a top value, www.trijicon.com .
I like the HD orange/green 3 dot set-up.
I'm not a big fan of fiber optic carry-duty sights. They seem fragile & easy to break in a high stress event.

Trijicon sights are added on to many law enforcement & military firearms.

I bought the HDs with the orange front post and green in the back... Should be here is a few days and then off to the gun smith to have it installed.

Somebody has to say it... so I guess it's me.

I like the TFO sight (Tritium Fiber Optic).

Bright as hell in daylight scenarios when the fiber optics come into play, yet in total darkness, when the fiber optics don't come into play, the 2-3 year old tritium in the sights on my Glock 29 light up very nicely.

Kinda seems like the best of both worlds to me.

I admit that I have applied a drop or two of super-glue (any cyanoacrylate glue) to the fore and rear end of the fiber optic tube to stop the tube "popping out" that I have read about, but never experienced).

Trijicon are beast but not a real big fan of night sights. Would rather spend my money on Crimson Lazer Grips.
