Ruger Super Blackhawk 5.5"

Just picked up my new SBH 5.5" barrel, I have a couple of Blackhawks but the hammer on this one hits the web of my hand at full cock none of the others do that, anybody else have this problem?

When you compare your new Blackhawk side-by-side with your other ones, can you see a noticeable difference in either the hammer or the trigger? Try it with both hammers cocked.

Not mine but the new SBH has a hammer like the top gun and my older ones have hammers like the bottom one.

With the exception of the factory stock gun at top right, I've changed the hammers on all my Super blackhawks to Blackhawk hammers:

I thought most people went the other way by replacing the hammers on their Blackhawks with SBH hammers...

They do I think they are better for SASS stuff. There is no way this would cause hammer bite but was surprised when I compared to the other ones,

Maybe so. And "most people" convert their Blackhawks to Bisleys, too.

Reckon I'm a maverick.

Nope.
As discussed above, I swapped my Blackhawk hammer for a SBH hammer (the sometimes difficult to obtain SBH Hunter hammer, in my case, since my Blackhawk is stainless).

Ewww...

Bisleys make me want to vomit.
Ugly. Uncomfortable.
Tasteless.

I know it's just personal preference, but that's my personal opinion of the matter.

And here I was thinking I was the only one that felt that way.

I'll go with subjectively 'ugly', and physically uncomfortable for me...

Tasteless, however...Is a matter of taste

don't have a SBH (or any SA revolver for that matter), but I also don't like bisleys. I much prefer "dragoon" style SA's.
