Remington 870 or Benelli SuperNova?

I'm in the market for a 12g shotgun. I recently looked at a Remington 870 magpul that I liked, but I haven't been able to find a Benelli SuperNova in stock anywhere to compare it to. I just wanted to get some opinions on the differences between the two. Mainly the overall feel and the differences between the sights. Also, how much difference does a pistol grip make since I have only ever shot my dad's Remington 1100 and a Mossberg 500 while in the Marines. This will be primarily for home defense/occasional weekend shooting. Thanks.
