Need help on competitions

The 10/22 brings to mind Smallbore Rifle Silhouette Competition. I won a state championship with my trusty little scoped Ruger rimfire.
It usually consists of 10 of each targets (chickens, pigs, turkeys, and rams) at 25, 50, 75, and 100 yards, but some ranges use meters. The spacing also sometimes consists of 40, 60, 77, and 100 yards or meters.
You would probably be considered "Unclassified" if you haven't shot the match before. They would then use your score after the match is over to put you in a class, which you would put down on your next shoot.
Classes are: "B" 0-14, "A" 15-21, "AA" 22-27, and "AAA" 28-40.
Maybe someone else here has other suggestions.

I just recently purchased a 10/22. I'm pretty much done upgrading the whole rifle. I mainly shoot at 50 yards for accuracy. What competitions are there for 50 yard shooting? I'm not into speed or anything like that. Just precision shooting with a 3-9x40mm scope. Taking my time and hitting the bull's eye is the key. I'm 20 yrs old now. I have never competed so I don't have a clue.

What "class" would I be in if any? Beginners, intermediate, etc...

Are scopes allowed on this event? Since I have a new barrel, there aren't any sights to use. What about time limits?
I haven't really used the rifle at 100 yards. How effective is this rifle at this range? Are "hyper-velocity" rounds best for this because of it's velocity? Match Grade ammos have a lower velocity. I'm still tossed on why they are better and cost more.

The time limits are usually 2 1/2 minutes per shot. You get 15 seconds between the commands "Ready" and "Fire!"
I use CCI Mini-Mags in all silhouette competition because they are (in my opinion) the best for the money, plus the top slides back so you can get 5 bullets out at a time.
They have competition for scoped guns and ironsights. I used my 10/22 in the scoped class and a Remington 581 in ironsight.
It's a lot of fun, especially when you can hear the "PLINK" as the target falls over.

Oh yeah, the .22 LR is VERY effective at 100 yards, I am able to shoot consistant 1 to 1 1/2 inch groups at that range.
