Detroit area ranges...

Any of you know of any gun ranges open to the public in the Detroit, MI area?

I have LOTS of places to shoot, (including the 200 yd. range on my own property, up north, where I am on weekends)

but nowhere to shot around Detroit! Please help!

I need names and locations(addresses), if possible...

Well, Target Sports in Royal Oak on Woodward has a nice indoor pistol range. I'm not sure about shooting shotguns in there. Last Chance gun range in Brownstown used to be a nice range, but i believe they have closed down since i joined the Marine Corps about 4 years ago. I like going to the State Park ranges. They are very cheap, and they are built quite nicely. My favorite as far as those go is Pontiac Lake State Rec area and park. I havent been there in 3 years, but it used to be my favorite one. Hope it helps.

where in SW? When i am home in MI., i stay in Dearborn. I think there used to be a gun store/range on Michigan Ave, near the old ball park, but i think that has long since closed. Other than that, i wouldn't be able to help you. I will ask my buddy, he is a Detroit cop, maybe he would know.

Last year I was travelling to Detroit about every week on business. There is an indoor range on, I know this is spelled wrong, Demundrian, and 14 Mile. The name of the range is Double Action. It was a lot nicer than Target Sports.

Try Peters Indoor Gun Range on Gratiot. I think it's between 696 and 12 Mile Road. I think Double action is on Desquindre. You also might want to check out
