'Spicoli' mags (AR Stoner) - Experiences

I just got an order from Midway USA last week that had some windowed pmags and AR Stoner magazines with an anti-tilt follower.

Frankly, I had forgotten about this order, as it was placed back in late December. Pmags are a known quality, but I'm not sure about AR Stoner magazines, not even sure why I ordered them save for the name.

Just wondering whose got some and if they are any good. I like the FN mags the most, but am happy with my pmags, Colt mags, Troy and mil-surp.

Experiences appreciated.

Tom

I'm pretty sure the AR-Stoner mags are just Midway's store-brand name slapped on mil-spec STANAG mags made by D&H or C-products (or similar). They should be as good as any other mil-spec aluminum AR mag, provided they have anti-tilt followers.

I know the AR-Stoner 6.8spc are made by ASC, and I've had no problems with them.

All of my 6.8 mags and a few of my 5.56 are AR Stoner. They are also all stainless steel. I have never had a single problem from any of them and will continue to use them as long as they are available at a decent price. I would put them up against any of the better known brands personally.

I use 5.56 Stoner mags for high power and have had no problem with them.

I have a few. My Stoner 20-rounder being the single mag I use the most at the range. Mine came with Magpul followers. One had uneven feed lips and doesn't work but the others are all just fine.
