Scoped #7 Jungle carbine?

I bought a Gibbs #7 Jungle Carbine in .308 some years back and am now interested in putting a scope on it. Do scope mounts exist?

The #7 is based on an Ishapore design which probably came from a #4.

Gun accessories dot com may have them. They normally stock mounts for the other Enfields.

That I do not know. All I'm sure of is it's a 2A Ishapore based rifle.

I had a Gibbs #7 JC a few years back. Its an Ishapour #1 mk3 in 7.62x51 nato. I really hate to say it but the only mount that works - that I am aware of is a B-Square but I think there may be another one. Thats what I had on mine. It seemed to hold zero well and the rifle was really accurate. Do a Google on Enfield #1 Mk 3 scope mounts. If you find one and mount it - Lok-tite the hell out of the mount screws. Luck to ya.
