CZ 75b SA for IDPA

Am I correct in my reading of the rule book that this gun if set up single action only could compete in SSP or ESP?

No.
The SA model can enter ESP only.
For SSP it must have a DA start.

not only do you have to shoot in esp, you have to use hot loads for 9mm. Must make a 165,000 power factor. Weight times velocity = power factor. 124gr must have 1330fps to use in esp.

iamdb, that is just not so. Please do not make stuff up.
Only a .45 ACP entered in CDP or a moon clip revolver, typically .45 or 10mm, in ESR must make a power floor of 165,000.
ESP and SSP must do only 125,000 which is easily in the reach of Cheapmart econoball or handbook reloads. USPSA Open 9mm Major is NOT needed for any IDPA Division.

I'm not making stuff up guy. I am a safety officer and a range officer. Your right. 165 is for USPSA Major. I constantly mix the two sports up. I catch flack when I give USPSA commands at IDPA as well. Your the guy that ask's me "how am I going to shoot if I don't load". You know what I mean smart alec.

I know that you shouldn't make incorrect statements to somebody who is probably new at the game and trying to outfit himself suitably.

And if you don't tell me to Load And Make Ready, I WILL come back at you.
Nobody's perfect, I have done it myself, but I don't get all het up about MY error.

There's a difference between making stuff up and mixing stuff up. How about cutting some slack? These forums are so hostile if you make a mistake or a typo. Random guys on the internet try to assert some sort of superiority or project total ignorance on a person for a mistake. I am guilty of this sometimes, as well. A simple correction, without accusation, would have sufficed.

I'm not heated up about my error, but capitalizing certain words and busting humps because someone say's "Make Ready" instead of "Load and make ready" can get irritating. Sometimes equipment rules and classification rules get mixed up between the two very similar comps.

Be nice, folks. Hint.

I once put up IPSC targets on an IDPA stage. You should hear the complaints.

Bad Glenn.

So let's relax.

Well, that changes the rules.
You can load it down for IDPA ESP or you can load it up for USPSA L-10.
But if single action you cannot shoot it in IDPA SSP or USPSA Production.

Atlanta Arms is the only source of .40 Minor I could find. Otherwise you will have to load your own for that.
