Left to right, 4.75" 44 Special 3G with genuine ivory. A 4.75" 38-40 3G in nickel with fake ivory. A 5.5" 45 Colt 2G with walnut.

your right Magnum Wheel Man, this thread really is old. But somethings are worth occasionally revisiting. Even more so with good pictures to look at.(like yours)

nice gun... I'm still trying to decide if I want to put a front sight on mine or not... it's obviously a belly gun, so it shouldn't "need" a front sight, but I have a couple screw in brass beads... I might have to put one on yet anyway ???

Pretty rare 5" BFR in 454 Casull, with a Sightmark green dot on top for my aging eyes.

JN01, I have put 300 rounds of 340 grain WLN at 1,000 to 1,250 fps through it with the Sightmark in place, plus some other lighter target loads. No problems so far.
