Gun rods for safe storage
Bought a set of these to clean up my small safe.
Before 10 guns:  after 15 guns:

Hmm.
A lot less expensive than a new safe and a lot less trouble than rearranging everything to make room for it. Hmm. Gun safes are advertised on the basis of the number of .410 single barrels they would hold. Scopes, bolt handles, magazines, cheekpieces, etc, cut into capacity drastically. |

I was close to needing another safe so tried these on my small safe and now I may get a kit for my big safe, if I could kick the wife out of storing her stuff in the big safe I'd be good to go.

I glue screw capped PVC tubes for my cleaning rods, along with some foam cushioning stuck in the caps; in order to protect the tips.

If you notice in the before picture most rifles had a sock on it to prevent nicks and bumps, I may put them back on and put a small hole for the rod in it.

I have had good results with these as well. I can actually fit the number of long arms that my safe is suppoed to hold. I too still want another safe and another set of those things to go with it.
