I just picked up a M96/41B with micrometer sights: adjustable 250m to 600m.

Does anyone have any hand-loads they've played with that emulate the original Swede 1941 spitzer load? IMR lists 38.5 gr. of 4895 for the Sierra 140gr Spitzer BT. Comments?

Thanks,
Rick

RickC,

Great rifles. I have used W760 in mine. I load down a tad. My best load was a Remington bulk PSP 140 gr bullet in front of 36.0 grains of W760. I estimate it was going about 2200 fps at the muzzle, maybe less.

Kind of hard to find the rifling in those old long leade chambers.

Good luck.
