Ah, and another victim falls to the "gotta have a rail on it" mindset. Sorry but seeing a double barrel with rails and a 68 on it is in my mind as wrong as two boys kissing!:barf:

Overkill...
Optical sight and flashlight underbarrel on a SxS Double? Why? Going after Geese after sunset?
To me the intended use of that double is defensive - its a point and shoot gun, kind of like a Kodak Instamatic...I don't need any bells, whistles, or other "tacticool" gadgets on a gun that would be used from 20-30 feet or much less. |

Sure there is. It's called your left hand. Or right if you're a southpaw.
Does it have ejectors? Or just extractors? I think in a TAKTIKAL situation when you're surrounded by 37 al-qaeda in your rural home, you'd want ejectors to speed up your reload by 0.57 seconds. |

I kind of like it. Besides, if it doesn't sell that well it might become a collectors item.

bbq, Rarely does a less desired gun model will become a collector and I think this rings very true with the import mass production guns...

I bet this would look great in a shotgun rack on a Yugo too. Too many mall ninjas in CEO positions putting ugly crap on otherwise decent guns.

Lance, I'm guessing you knew that most opinions would not be favorable
I REALLY like Stoeger coach guns. They are cool and fairly inexpensive. I would own one but I have no where to store it at the moment. I'll be honest: that tactical version is pretty durn ugly. I could live with the flashlight if it were somehow attached without the rail (or if the rail was so short that it was invisible under the flashlight. But the scope.... :barf: Here is a handsome Stoeger coach:

For me, it's hard to beat the look of a coachgun with exposed hammers

Nope, no joke indeed. I seen one of these at Gander Mountain today as a matter of fact. Perhaps it was Dicks, non the less. It's really not that bad looking a gun. But I tend to agree, I don't really see a point for a rail on it. But if the tacticool look is what you like, then it serves you well. Mind you this is coming from a Rem 870 Knox Tac. owner.

In your rural home, when attacked by 37 al-qaeda, you have at least three coach guns, and at least two females reloading for you.

I like it. I wouldn't want the optic on it, but I like the idea of a light. And, I like the front sight too.
