Firestar firing pin removal
Ok guys, how do you remove the firing pin on a firestar? Please don't tell me I have to remove the rear sight, I had to loctite it in (loong story).

OK, I won't tell you that, but that is how you do it. Once the sight is removed, take out the plunger and the spring and the firing pin and its spring can be removed.

Egad. Any tips on removing the permanent loctite?

Most of the Loctites will loosen when heated. Try a soldering iron first, and if that won't break it loose, use a propane torch.
