I have a 14 in bbl MOA falling block handgun in .260
I made the assumption I shoild choose from powders recommended for .260 rifle loads, but in the quicker burning rates. I only experimented with Re-15 and Varget. With a 120 gr ballistic tip. I got about 2600 and groups around a nickel. In the Hogdon annual it shows some Varget loads.I prefer you get charge weights from your manual,if you can. |

95 grain Hornady V-Max and Benchmark powder are like magic in a couple rifles I've seen. Should do well in an XP pistol too. I have one in .223 Rem.
