I would like to obtain information on the following pistol:
It is marked "Iver Johnson Target - Model 55A" It is a .22 caliber, double action revolver that load via a loading gate on the right side of the frame. It has fixed sights and a 6 inch barrel. Serial number is H60xxx. The revolver appears to be in perfect shape. Any information (including value) about this particular revolver would be appreciated. God bless. Hugh |

It was manufactured from 1955 'til 1984, it was available with a 4" barrel or, as is the case in your example, 6".
Approximate value is $75 to $15 in 100 to 60 percent condition respectively. Perhaps not valuable but great shooters nonetheless. ------------------ Gunslinger We live in a time in which attitudes and deeds once respected as courageous and honorable are now scorned as being antiquated and subversive. |
