My room in her house
This is my reloading/cleaning/hunting room. The wife can claim the rest of the house but this room and the garage are MINE
This has been a work in progress for many years and we can always do more. I would like a progressive for doing handgun loads. Last edited by smedley; July 24, 2005 at 09:52 AM. Reason: spell check |

dillon bench
I made this bench strictly for the new dillon. They said it HAD to be sturdy, so, I built it out of 2-2' x 4' sheets of 5/8 hardwood plywood glued and screwed together. Then I screwed it into the framework of the bedroom wall.
This is just one of the 3 benches, the other two are covered with so much junk, you can't see the top! I missed the handout of the neatness gene! It's set up for .223 here, other calibers include .38-.357, 40 s&w, 45 acp-45 long colt, 44. mag, .308.

I was gonna give you grief over the first pic, but I saw the second, and saw it wasn't deserved.
Imagine taking a pic of a dillon with an empty tool head! But I do have a question, why are all the toolheads bare of dies except your decapping ones?

My bad.
I got a similar problem, I got prolly as many quick change kits, but they're for a 550. I don't have the neat case feeder and decapping toolheads, though. But when the 550 case feeder comes out I might.

alrighty I think I've got it now. The pics arent the best but you can see the bench I just finished. I didnt have enough lights on either and I had to turn the pic quality down a bit to make the file smaller but you'll get the idea. Its not all organized yet but I just wanted to get a picture of it. Again I'm happy with how it turned out, being that I've never been too good at wood working How do you like the camo peg board? By the way, the bench top is 8ft x 3ft and is 2 inches thick. The first lyer is an inch of plywood, the second is a counter top I got from my boss. I'm excited

Here is mine. My rock Chucker isn't mounted unless I need it. Just not enough space!
I keep component stored in another room so the wrong stuff isn't on the table at the wrong time. 12,20,28, .10 shotgun; SDQ for .45 |

As I am still a relative newbie to reloading (only 2 years), what is that large red machine in the middle? |

That is a Hornady 366 Auto 12 Gauge Progressive Reloader. It is a great machine and can really crank them out. The only nit pick is the lack of a system to check to ensure a shell is present for the powder and shot stations.

Hey kingudaroad,
I like the looks of your setup. That looks like something I can put together now until I can build something more permanent. Thanks for the pic/idea. |

Here is my new room. My wife built it for me while I was deployed to the desert, I think I'll keep her around for a while

Well I am new to the reloading and I got to say that Yall are some serious loaders. LOL... Those have been some great setups. I love the Dillion Progressives. I take it that most of you are fond of the Dillions. I will have to take a pic of where I load. I load at my Dads house cause Well I don't have the room here at my house yet. I need a shop. But great job on all the rooms. Makes me an my dad look pittiful.. LOL. But we are working on it.. Just started loading about a month ago. Yall have given me some great Ideas.
