AR quick detach scope mount
Can anyone recommend a good quick detach scope mount for an AR? i would like to be able to switch back and forth from irons to scope without having to re-zero my scope all the time

What kind of scope are we talking about? LaRue have been the only mounts that I have had good success with quick detach scope mounts that actually returns very closely to zero.

Anyone try Wilson accu-rizer? I was trying to find something similar and wondered how they compare to the laRue.

Re: AR quick detach scope mount
Either drop the money on the best mount in the business (LaRue), or re-zero each time. The PEPR quick detach mounts don't return to zero too well...

I have an ARMS #35QD on my one AR, as well as an ARMS #22 M68 mount on the rifles back up Aimpoint, and they hold zero fine. Ive have/have had LaRue and GG&G Aimpoint mounts as well, and they work well too.

well for that kind of money i dont think a quick detach mount will work. heck if i have to re zero each time it just gives me another excuse to go to the range right

The old lady will never know, and you can entertain yourself swapping them back and forth, even every round if you want.
See, problem solved. |
