Very nice Cameron!... I like seeing the Magpul RFG being used that way.

I started this AR build awhile back and I think I have it where I want it.

This build was made to match my Sig P220R with factory nickle controls.

I went with a 16 inch bull barrel and also the sport upper receiver ( we all know there is little need for the forward assist and dust cover right?ha ha ) to give it some clean lines and a mix of old style with new.

I love browsing through this thread. So many nice EBR's out there. I envy some of you guys with SBR's and suppressors. If I only had extra $$ lying around I'd do the same.

I'm happy to say that I'm officially part of the 300 AAC Blackout craze. I picked up a PSA upper with Midwest Ind Gen2 rail in 300BLK last week, and put it on my Spikes lower.

So now I have 2 separate uppers, one in 5.56/.223 and a 300Blackout. It works out well even with just one complete lower for now. The second lower is currently getting built.

sorry for the crappy pics, I definitely need a better camera. Here they are both with the 5.56/223 mounted on my roomate's lower that he's letting me borrow temporarily:

I <3 this thread. Cameron is my hero.

Here's my brand new, very first AR15. I hope to do some proper photos later this week.

10.5" NEA-15 w/ Eotech EXPS2-0 and Magpul MOE grip. Waiting for BUIS to come back in stock locally. Also probably going to change out the CAA ladder rail covers with XTMs, as the rail gets real hot real fast! Lastly, deciding on a stock. Every visceral part of me wants a UBR -- just trying to decide if the weight would be right on an SBR (with receiver ext, its only 0.7 lbs heavier than a CTR).

Anyway...

Here's my S&W 15 Sport. I just put the MI 2 piece free float handguards on a month ago. I really like them and they are rock solid, no movement what so ever. The scope is an old Bushnell Sportview 4-12X40 from 20 years ago. I wanted to do some 100 yard accuracy testing and it did the job just fine. I usually have a Primary Arms M3 red dot sight on it. They are the best budget ARs on the market today, bar none.

When I did my part the Sport did just great at 100 yards. These were all 3 shot groups. At 64 my shooting is not what it used to be but good enough for zombies of any type!!!!!
