My Argentine Mauser
I have an 1891 Argentine Mauser rifle that I'm thinking about modernizing. The rifle's stock was cut down when I got it, and I've long given up trying to track down another military stock for it... It's *blanking* impossible... I always seem to be too late. The action is unmolested numbers matching from 1894 I replaced the firing pin spring because I was getting worried about how light the dents in the primers were (always fired though and I kept the original spring).
I use it for deer hunting and, as another member will agree, I'm fairly accurate with it shooting open sights at 75 yards. I'm thinking about getting a different stock (keeping the old one because it IS the original stock just...missing more than 25% of it), getting a little nicer trigger pull, I'd like to keep the two stage pull but the 'break' is pretty heavy. And putting a scout style scope on it. The rifle isn't worth much, but I love it. Anyone have links or parts vendors that make triggers for the 1891? Or any parts in general?

Numerich has most of the factory parts, except stocks of course
http://www.gunpartscorp.com/catalog/...ne+&catid=4220 A Brownell's search brings up Timney triggers, but not sure of which model fits the 91. http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/cid=1...ts/Rifle-Parts. And BTW, the range was more like 100 yards
