What is a Hand Held case Belling tool?
Doing some CL. looking and found a guy that will sell a 38/357 Die set, some bullets, caliper tool, bunch of brasses with a bottle of case lube.
I know what all that is but then he has written Hand Held case belling tool? What is this. No pic. I would probably know what it was if I could see a pic. Doing google has not turned up anything. All for 50 bucks.... |

You sure you're not getting a Lyman 310 ("tong") set of reloading tools?

The 310 is what a lot of us started with used a long time ago... (and then actually again today
at the range with my 38-55 in a High Wall -- re-using the same 10 cases w/ blackpowder/cast bullets over & over again after rinsing/drying them out.) |

I've belled cases for lead bullets by lightly tapping the shoulder of an old case in to the mouth, but to me that doesn't rise to the level of even a hand made "tool".
Maybe he means a chamfering tool? |

Was'nt there a tool for belling the case mouth included as part of the kit for straight wall pistol cases in the Lee ' Whack a Mole' tools?
