ak survival kit

I cant justify spending the money on this, but I would sure buy it on sale/used. what do you all think about this?

Looks nice, but at that price I can live without it. Added weight to a weapon can increase fatigue and affect the balance or it's handling characteristics.

I have the Hogue grip, and love it, but the kit looks like a lot of money for what you get.

I also have the hogue grip but definitely wouldn't spend that much money. I like brownells but it seems as though you pay full MSRP with them.

Its nice, but the AK comes with one already in the but stock. It has a jag, bore brush, punch, and a sight tool. you can attach your oil/solvent can to your sling and you will have enough of both for multiple cleanings. Plus if your rifle did not come with all of theses things they can be had for about $10 total via a gun show. Or you can get a tapco SAW style grip and assembal some thing similar for $15.
