Mag question for P226 22LR Classic

New to the conversion world. Purchased a Sig P226 22LR Beavertail Classic pistol with intentions of "upsizing" to a .40, using the Sig conversion kit. The kit comes with slide, barrel, one magazine. My question is this: If I want to purchase additional magazines for my .40 converted P226 (22LR), do I need to buy something special or unique? Or, can I simply purchase .40 cal magazines, as if I had the P226 .40 in the first place? Because I am dealing with a P226 frame, will ANY P226 .40 magazine fit? Please tell me "Yes?"

Thank you, in advance, for any comments or links to suggestions.

Any P226 .40 mag should work, Sig or Mec Gar. (many Sig mags are made by Mec Gar, some have both names on them)

Suitable mags for converted R226 (22LR)

Hammerhead: Thank you so much for the confirmation. In light of possible high cap mag bans, I want to be sure and secure the proper hardware, in advance.

Very thankful for the resources this forum provides.
