hunting

id like to know if anyone here is hunting with their saa clones and uberti made break opens. caliber, barrel, load would be good to know and what kind of success you are having with them.

I hunt small game with the Ruger Old Army, I've taken rabbit and raccons. I use it as a back up during B/p season, as in Ky it's a legal b/p gun. I would only shoot a deer if it were very close or wounded. The 44 makes a large hole, but velocity is lacking for good penetration at a distance.
