Steel shot in the pedersoli Bess
Hey all,
Duck season is around the corner and I was thinking it might be a fun thing to take my Bess carbine out and pop some ducks with it. Is this going to pose a problem for the barrel? I don't want to risk tearing it up |

I don't think the Bess has a chrome lined barrel and steel shot will be detrimental to it.

Really not a good idea.
However, one or two shots probably would not be very detrimental. But practicing would be ruled out. Bottom line, don't do it. |
