aperture sight
I have never used a rfle with a peep sight and was thinking of modifying a Savage 65m in 22 mag to peep sight. Any suggestions on a sight or method to install.

How much do you want to spend?
Do you want to make the front sight a globe, or keep it as a blade/bead? |

I have Williams on two of my guns, one I left with the bead front sight the other I put a DPMS front sight on. Both went on easily, I don't remember the cost but it wasn't bad.

If your Savage 65 has scope mount grooves on the receiver, Skinner Sights ( www.skinnersights.com ) now makes a clip-on grooved receiver peep sight, which may/may not require a taller front sight blade to achieve zero.
