C&B manufacturer question

I have the C&B and flint disease, and it's getting worse all the time.

I am looking at a C&B allegedly made by Cimmaron. Have never heard of them. See a lot of other former makers and generally steer clear (well, unless just real real cheap) for fear of unavailabilty of parts down the road. Anyone privvy to Cimmaron?

Just askin'

TIA
Okie out

Cimarron is made by Uberti but they're a little better finished and smoother than the run of the mill Uberti.

The basics are that Cabelas and a few other places sells Peittas/Piettas can't recall the spelling and several other players sell Uberti's including Cimmerron & Taylor's I think.

Further, there are Uberti's imported but some importers are better than others i.e. pick of the litter-see above.

I do not know if its true or not- My Uberti's are over 30 yrs old, never had a Pietta- Do a search and there is a wealth of information here on them.

Just get something and shoot it- make your next move rom there
