Rear Sling mount for 11-87
I have a remington 11-87 that I am planning to use on patrol as a LEO. Right now the weapon has a wooden buttstock with the rear sling swivel near the heel (pretty much standard). However, I would like to have a rear sling mounting point on the left side of the weapon. As I see it, I have three options:
1. Find a new buttstock already set up with a sling mount on the left. 2. Get one of those mounting plates which fits between the reciever and the buttstock. I think GG&G sells them. 3. Just screw a swivel into the left side of the butt stock. Anyone have any advice or comments?
