Home Made Black powder

Great info to have stashed back somewhere but I am concerned about the safety of making any substantial quantity at home. Suppose it could be useful info if it gets hard to get the commercial stuff. Still cannot really conceive of the home powder mill though. Probably would have to make it in very small quantities and add it all up over time. Maybe buy enough and store it carefully if there is reasonable sign of a coming shortage.
