Illuminated front sight post for M1?

I see that Trijicon makes an illuminated front sight for the M1 but it doesn't utilize an illuminated ghost ring. I've never used an illuminated sight so I'm not sure if this matters, but I am wanting to use the sight at night for coyote hunting so I'd need it to work in very low light conditions. Any thoughts or experience with these?

Got one on my knock around M1 Garand. It does what tritium is expected to do, light up. What more do you want?
