I've cooked up about 25 such 240gr/21gr rounds, and I've also made up about 75 200gr(plated)/21gr rounds. Those latter will leave alone.

The former, I may shoot to chrono, and based on those readings, I may drop my charge to 20.5 or 20gr N110, especially if those 265gr Hornady bullets turn up. '

At the moment, this 240gr recipe is my woods load, but would opt for the 265gr'ers if they turn up, meaning there would no longer be the need to eek out as much velocity as possible from the 240gr rounds.

I do have a Redhawk, though, so I'm a little less concerned about this than I might have been with a less robust gun.

I really feel manuals should devote more space to reading signs of high pressure: I've seen next to nothing in nthe manuals I've looked through, yet clearly it is an important area, especially to the novice reloader...
