Bore Snake Question
I own a 357 Magnum carbine 16" barrel.
Do they make a bore snake specifically for a 357 rifle? Or is the snake long enough that you use the pistol snake? |

A bore snake for .357 and for .38 special should have identical dimensions, so if you see one or the other, grab it - it should work. Failing that, look for something in .35 or .36 caliber.

Will it work as a rifle kit only since it is a 16" barrel? Or is the pistol kit long enough to go all the way through?

I want to say they make different rifle and pistol lengths... however I have used my .45 pistol boresnake in my .450 Marlin with an 18.5" barrel so I think you should be ok lengthwise.

I use the same bore snake for my .44 mag revolver and rifle, as well as the same .22 bore snake for my revolver and rifles. My .44 rifle is a 20" marlin and the weighted end of the bore snack hangs out by a few inches when fully inserted.
