I purchased a Remington brand synthetic stock for my Wingmaster 870. No bolt or other hardware came with it. First thing I noticed was the inside hole is significantly different than that on the wooden stock. It's more funnel shaped. The problem is, the regular bolt was clearly not designed for the synthetic stock. I "rigged" it to work by using washers to "fill the funnel", but it's a temporary solution at best. Have you had a similar problem? How did you solve it? Thanks, Sport |

You need the bolt made for synthetic stocks. Remington part #97022, you can get it from Brownells, their part #767-970-220. $4.20.
