why don't you just load some light lead bullet practice rounds and go shoot them off. Then load as normal. I have removed live primers but prefer not to do it when possible.

all the rounds i load are for practice and use lead. I have done it all of 4 times. I don't use ones that are crushed sideways or deformed in anyway.
It might be dangerous but a dimple in the primer is not a big deal to me. It is nothing compared to what the firing pin on the gun does. that does set it off to fire.

1. The gun is always loaded.
2. Never let the muzzle cover anything you are not willing to destroy.
3. Keep your finger off the trigger unless you are ready to shoot.
4. Be be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
