light load for 165 gr Cast Fp in a 30-30

I bought some some National Bullet 165 gr cast bullets, and need a light target load.

I have an old model 94, and want to use the cast bullets to go easy on the barrel.

I have a variety of powders, so what do you like?

thank you

My dad likes 7 grains of Unique with cast bullets that weigh between 160 and 170 grains.

LIGHT LOADS

Send LEE $5 and get their program that allows you to take the full charge powder and downsize you RIFLE load to suite your velocity.

Information is on pages 90 - 93 in the Lee loading manual.
