Winchester 62a s/n question

I have an old 62a that I bought used 20+ years ago. It has different numbers on the receiver(31090x) and the underside of the stock tang(31904x). Why the two numbers? Are they part numbers, serial numbers or what? Is the rifle less valuable if they don't match, are they supposed to match?
Not in the market to sell it, just curious. It's a good "barn rifle".

Very likely two different rifles put together to make one good one.
