Magazine carrier preference

I can understand how the style/brand of one pistol holster is better than another, but when it comes to double mag carriers, does it really matter? For example, Fobus vs. Uncle Mike's Kydex. I noticed that Uncle Mike's Kydex is one size fits all, while the Fobus is model/caliber specific. Which is better? Is there much of an difference?

I don't use a double pouch, but I prefer a holder designed for the specific mag I'm using. My favorite is a Milt Sparks IPS holder.

I use a single mag carrier and a pocket mag carrier

Yea I know everyone wants a double mag UNTIL they have to carry one for awhile..Then they switch to a single..yea me included

I've used a Blade Tech belt mounted kydex double carrier for about 10+ years now and still do. Rides high, sits tight to your body and is tension adjustable. I also have a Desantis double carrier in leather that works very well too.

I like ones custom made for the gun I am carrying. K & D Holsters, palehorseholsters, milt sparks, etc. make some great carriers.
