I need detailed drawings on dis-assembling and re-assembling a Ruger 357 Security Six (newer model). Do you know of any web sites that would have this information? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Natty:
Yes. I have the owners manual. If you'd like to have it please provide an email address and I will send it.

When you send your email, make reference to the Ruger Security Six.

You could also try RUGER on the search of your PC

Send to Ruger, they will send you a new owners manual for this gun free of charge.

The owner's manual discusses field stripping the gun, but not detailed disassembly. While it's not hard to detail strip the Ruger with a minimal of tools, reassembling a gun is the challenging part for the untrained and I highly recommend getting Jerry Kuhnhausen's book on Rugers. If you get stuck, post a question in the Smithy Forum and either myself or another member will walk you through.
